Welcome to the 100 VIEWS Project website! The idea was inspired by the work of Japanese artist Hokusai (1760-1849) and developed by Australian writer Libby Hathorn.
The website invites you to choose a local ‘icon’ to celebrate your community through art, poetry, music and history.
It provides teaching tools such as poetry and art workshops and background notes to help you work towards a Festival of 100 VIEWS:- 100 paintings, 100 poems, 100 interviews and so on.
Importantly, the website allows teachers to publish their students work as a School Gallery to be ultimately shared with schools round the world.
